Flashbacks of Being a Kid

Yesterday JaneClaire got her Polly Pocket dolls out and was playing with them behind the chair. I could hear her talking to them, telling them the names she had picked out for them, what they were going to wear and that they were going to Preschool.

I walked over to see what she was doing. She had their little shoes and clothes lined up on the windowsill and the babies on the floor. She saw me and asked "Mommy, can I have some of your tissue for my babies to cover up with. They need to take a nap." I said sure! She went and got some and carefully tore each piece and placed them over her babies. It was so cute. It reminded me of the good old days playing with my barbies. I used to fill Ziploc baggies with water and sneak some washcloths out of the bathroom. I pretended that these were their water beds. So cool! I remember my Dad getting annoyed when we had about 10 bags of water on the floor with barbies and washcloths everywhere. He thought we were wasting them. My Mom would laugh and remind him that the bags could be dried and reused. Haha! Thank heaven for Moms right? She would always calm my Dad down. If not for her, he probably would have had a heart attack with 2 crazy girls in the house. =)

I snapped these pictures of JC with my camera phone. She was so proud of these beds. I got them in time for a smile because about 5 min later she would be screaming and crying. Silas decided he needed to tear the 'covers' off and grab a baby to make JC mad! He knows just what to do to ruffle his sister's feathers. That sneaky little guy! =)
